Thursday, March 15. This year is having such a lazy start. That i almost forgot to write my yearly round up post. But here it is, couple of days late. In year seven since i started sharing my sewing over this blog. I made my favorite piece of clothing ever. And discovered i can sew and rock a pair of skinny jeans. Kinda got late to that party. At this pace, i'll get to sewing my first culottes. Some time around 2026th). I've also made couple of dresses for myself. But frankly, i spent most of the time.

Friday, April 10. Here are the other tops i've made. Using burda's pattern (2/2015, #128 and #127). Modeled by my lovely friend sandra). This pattern requires small amount of fabric. Friday, April 24. Jacket - burda 09/2014, #134. The jacket that almost didn't happen. First i cut the pieces in fashion fabric. Navy colored tweed, with splotches of gray). Only to realize that the fabric is too thin for the type of jacket i had in mind. Even with quilted lining i bought. So i had to go back to fabric store. And find another wool fabric. Tuesday, May 26. Dress - burda magazine 03/2011, # 108. One of my favorite dress patterns ever. Thought i'll give it another go,. But, once finished, it kind of looked ridiculous on me. From some reason i really don't enjoy wearing this silhouette anymore). It looks way better on tea. Even if it's a size too big for her. Fabric is from remnant bin. It was not supposed to look like this. Should instead be black with white/yellow birds. But somehow few meters ended up. Goes way better with turquoise sea.

Friday, February 27. Dress - burda 09/2012, #107. Made this dress back in november. But it took me ages to take pics. Even those crappy phone ones). Had only 1.1m of fabric. And somehow squeezed dress out of that. I managed to make front symmetric. Back is a mess. But i can live with that. Dunno what the fabric is supposed to be used for.
