Your Hands Shaped This Doll...: March 2010
http://killerconcept.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 28, 2010. This was the tune that kept playing over and over in my mind today while conquering hills after hills. The uphill crazy course of NUS biathlon this year really gave me the opportunity to test my courage. Was I brave enough to conquer the hills or let them overcome me instead? As I ran up with burning legs and laboured breathing, each breath trying to take in more oxygen than my lungs permitted, I found my answer. Friday, March 26, 2010. These guys are soooo creative! I mounted the...

Your Hands Shaped This Doll...: A train ride to remember
http://killerconcept.blogspot.com/2011/05/train-ride-to-remember.html
Monday, May 23, 2011. A train ride to remember. The highlight this week was definitely the travelling to and fro via railway to Ooty. We arrived at the railway station on Thursday at 10pm to catch our 7-hour train ride to Mettupalayam. Throngs of local families laid all around the station waiting for their trains to arrive. We were fortunate to get tickets for our trip having been on the waiting list right up to the moment we left the hostel for the railway station. New Zealand' looking place. A train ri...

Your Hands Shaped This Doll...: October 2009
http://killerconcept.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Amsterdam, Netherlands (30th-31st July '09). The next destination was vice capital of the world, Amsterdam. It was a waste that we only had 2 days to spend there. Amsterdam is a very beautiful city with wonderful city planning creating a fusion of past and present. The people in Amsterdam are also super friendly, and they speak really fluent English! Fast food vending machine! The famous fries. This could be a meal on its own! A range of Absolut Vodka in the Vodka museam.

Your Hands Shaped This Doll...: September 2010

Wednesday, September 29, 2010. The choice is yours. Every morning you have two choices: continue your sleep with dreaming, or wake up and chase your dreams. Today, I did the chasing, and boy did it feel good. Saturday, September 25, 2010. Seize this chance, rejoice in it and let no power or persuasion deter you in your task." – Chariots of Fire. Your Hands Shaped This Doll...: November 2010
http://killerconcept.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 14, 2010. You reap what you sow. I did the toughest race of my life today. It was humbling and at the same time enlightening. Being in the youngest age-group in this event means that we are in the last wave. This also means that we have the most disadvantageous cut-off timing: 1hr for the swim and 3hrs for the bike. I was last out of the waters in my group and managed 46mins for the swim leg. I do not regret the time wasted waiting for Jocelyn as I learnt that triathlon is more than just ...

Your Hands Shaped This Doll...: April 2011
http://killerconcept.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 26, 2011. To love is a beautiful, mysterious event; do not miss it. Be neither too cautious nor too absorbed. Too many of us reason with our hearts and experience with our heads. It cannot be so. The heart knows no logic beyond need and desire;. The head has no senses except the common and the pragmatic. Neither, frankly, is useful in love anyway. Rely on your sixth sense, that little voice within. There is no preparation for or protection from the joy and pain of relationships. But no one...

Your Hands Shaped This Doll...: My virgin local railway experience
http://killerconcept.blogspot.com/2011/05/my-virgin-local-railway-experience.html
Monday, May 16, 2011. My virgin local railway experience. I set off by foot from my hotel at Chennai to Egmore railway station on the suggestion of the counter staff when I asked how do I get to Chennai airport other than by auto-rickshaw. Before long, I was at the station. The walk there took about 5mins as estimated by my information provider. However, chaos ensued as I was the only Chinese person in the ticketing queue. Every local acted like I did not exist, even the ticketing agent! I dont think so.
