Lived in Fukushima Prefecture from summer 2007 to summer 2010. Yes, that means I wasn't there for the big earthquake. I went back to Japan again and lived in Gifu Prefecture from spring 2011 to spring 2013. All 5 years spent working in Japan were as an ALT. I am a Christian. I am writing a novel. I like gaudy things. Buying tacky clothing, canasta.

Lets see if I can get it. Got all 3 that I wanted and applied to the job. Sadly there was a 2nd job I was also going to use 3 letters for but I apparently missed the deadline on that one by a longshot. The pay was less for that anyway but still. Its not really a guarantee that I will get this one, either.

Study for the JLPT. Study for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. Hopefully someone can help me out. This community has been kind of dead lately, but it's worth a shot. I'm going for N1 this summer. I doubt I'll pass, but I'm working my ass off studying. I'm doing about half test-specific textbook studying, and half reading/listening materials intended for native speakers. But, stuff like that can get boring when you do it for hours everyday. Thursday, March 3, 2011. It is time to not only say farewell to this blog, but also to yet another beloved pet. Black Bear, our wonderful resident communist, passed away on December 3rd.
