That's A Rapp: September 2012
http://stacyrapp.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
You can't make this stuff up. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram. Caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called that place The Lord. Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord. It will be provided.”. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Http:/ www.molinarioswald.com/. Http:/ www.abundantlifebiblechurch.org/. Http:/ www.youtube.com. View my complete profile.

I would hear people explain that it wasn't really good on Friday, but it was good that on Sunday that Jesus rose from the grave, so the crucifixion was good, we just had to wait three days to realize it. I was pacified for a while, and then as I grew in faith, I had more questions. I like good now, good is great. Good is difficult to get through because often those "in all things" can encompass some pretty unplea...

That's A Rapp: September 2010

You can't make this stuff up. Wednesday, September 1, 2010. At times I have thought that I am a complete moron for even considering such a thing. Then I realize that often when we are told to do things, it doesn’t always make a lot of sense in the traditional sense. But, it is an answer to prayer. There will be challenges, I will continue to sin and have a terrible attitude at times, but I am work in progress and He is faithful to complete this construction site of a human. You can't make this stuff up. Friday, June 11, 2010. Iron Pigs a big mess. Last night I had tickets to the Iron Pigs game. I took Erin and Caleb and had an extra ticket, so Janelle and McKenna. Shoes somewhere behind us and we may never have retrieved it were it not for the kindness of a stranger. After a scolding from my sister for not knowing a shoe fell off someone else's. Body, and finding out Erin had stepped over it thinking it was some strangers, we got to our seats with everyone's. Another trip t...

That's A Rapp: Delayed Response
http://stacyrapp.blogspot.com/2014/05/delayed-response.html
You can't make this stuff up. Friday, May 16, 2014. While I understand that fundamentalist Christians can sometimes speak truth with all the grace of an atomic bomb, I do not understand the anger at a belief founded in centuries old traditions, whose tenants are well known. It is understood that most Christians will interpret the bible certain ways. To say these are all right is not the issue. Right is right outside of anyone who believes it or disagrees with it. When the organization makes changes to a ...

That's A Rapp: Praying, Obeying, Seeing
http://stacyrapp.blogspot.com/2013/05/praying-obeying-seeing.html
You can't make this stuff up. Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Praying, Obeying, Seeing. Today I watched a young man with a heavy heart wait for his tax meeting. Moments before, my boss told me his mother was battling cancer and taking a turn for the worse. While he told me of that, he showed me a post it note with the names of about six people he prays for, all who have cancer. The list would be longer, but some have passed away. And why can't it be a good outcome? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

That's A Rapp: December 2014
http://stacyrapp.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
You can't make this stuff up. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Sure, we give ourselves a bit of importance by having a leap day to make up time or changing the hours to give us daylight when we want, but ultimately we are confined to time and that is how it rolls. And so it is with the passing of 2014 that I find there are very few circumstances changed, and yet the person experiencing them, me again, has changed significantly. You may notice or not notice. And truthfully, I'd be surprised if anyone...Yet, ...

You can't make this stuff up. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Iron Pigs, Take Two. Eleven is the new social awareness. I took my eleven year old niece to the Iron Pigs game a few weeks ago. We had tickets to a batting practice viewing, but since her younger brother decided not come along with us, the allure was far less compelling for two chic chicks. Instead we found ourselves driving around town looking for sunglasses and flip flops. Television can be a great educator if we allow it to be. She knows it doesn&#...

I hear from time to time people describing something happening to them that is beneficial to them, and then say that God is good. This makes me think about the reasoning to that statement. Doesn't that make the deciding factor as to if God is good, our perception of the situation? If what is beneficial to you is detrimental to me, is God good for one of us and not the other?
