A journey back to the basics with a modern day Montana hippy. Quick and Easy Chicken and Dumplings →. Love, Twue Love. March 21, 2011. Let me tell you something about love. In our home, love is a dress. Love is a tutu. Love is a pwiiiiiiincess. Love is pure, innocent, and sometimes comical. So yes, love is a dress around here. My little lady hardly ever wears pants, and you better believe that if she wants to be a princess, so does he! This entry was posted in Uncategorized. March 21, 2011 at 3:34 pm.

A journey back to the basics with a modern day Montana hippy. Dutch Oven Lasagna (sort of). Love, Twue Love →. March 11, 2011. I have been inspired! Last night I went to a viewing of the movie FRESH. I am, however, going to do what I can with what little I have. We already have a pretty rockin’ garden, so I need to look a bit deeper. Ah, yes! Deeper……the earth in which that garden grows! I am ready. I am refreshed, rejuvenated, and full of a million and one ideas! This entry was posted in Gardening.

A journey back to the basics with a modern day Montana hippy. Newer posts →. One Day I’ll Sleep. February 3, 2011. One day I’ll sleep. One day I’ll wake up feeling rested. One day I won’t need the nectar of life (aka coffee) to be functional. One day I will be able to go to sleep at night and wake up only when it is morning. One day I will be able to go to sleep without the ever present fear of being woken up as soon as I’m almost in deep sleep. One day will be here before I know it. January 28, 2011.

And more, much more than this, I did it my way. Laquo; Garden 5-31-11. How to hard boil an egg. Posted June 9, 2011 by radar5 in Uncategorized. Sometime around my oldest child’s 2nd year old life I discovered that I had no idea how to hard boil an egg. Seems like an easy way to make a quick protein-packed snack for a hungry, pregnant and nursing mother and her small, picky child. My mother made them all the time. How difficult is it to hard-boil an egg? Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

And more, much more than this, I did it my way. Laquo; Garden–4/24/11. Who do I have to pay to get more hours in my day? Posted May 2, 2011 by radar5 in Uncategorized. Oh wait. I don’t have extra time. Money I suppose I’ll have to thrive with the 24 I’ve been granted. I think it’s awesome that the first post I saw on the Word Press homepage today was this. Often times I think I should. Often times I’m convinced I. If there were just more hours in the day. So, what’s going on now? To everyone except me.

And more, much more than this, I did it my way. Laquo; Who do I have to pay to get more hours in my day? Posted May 16, 2011 by radar5 in Uncategorized. The Fed-Ex man likes my garden. I bet he also likes that the combination of my addiction to books (which I never have time to actually read) and Amazon Prime’s free two-day shipping keeps him in a job. Just sayin’. Here are the latest pictures of the goodies I’m growing. Pretty little summer squashes. My favorite of the squashes. Somewhere in this garden...

And more, much more than this, I did it my way. Laquo; Garden 5-15. Posted May 26, 2011 by radar5 in ds5. I really, really want to blog more. I have a dream of blogging 3-4 times per week, chronicling life our way so that I can remember it–the tiny details of it that fade over time–long after life our way includes occasional phone calls and once-in-a-while holidays with our grown children. So, when I can steal minutes here and there I will. And here I am. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Notify me of new comm...

And more, much more than this, I did it my way. Posted by radar5 in Uncategorized. Today I clipped dill from my herb garden right into my bowl of egg yolk mixture for the deviled eggs, marking the first item I’ve used from my garden this year. Or just eating them raw with some garlic and salt sprinkled on top. Really. Summer squash = the taste of childhood summers. Here are some pictures from today. Summer squash w/ butternut squash at the bottom right. Beautiful butter head lettuce. I’m posting qu...

And more, much more than this, I did it my way. Posted May 26, 2011 by radar5 in Uncategorized. What’s up with us. This is a WUWU post. Because I’m sure everyone is hyperventilating to know. Right? Last Saturday ds9 competed in the State Track and Field meet and came in second place in the 800m. I am so proud of him. He has really worked hard. His dedication to sports amazes me. His body is a machine. Exercise is playing and play has a purpose in his world. And this is life our way. Gentle Mom in Training.
