Thursday, July 30, 2015. Almost done and 10x better. We might get some sunflowers yet. I can't wait to see these Morning Glories take off next year. Peas and Broccoli for Labor Day? Fresh Coat of paint on the front steps. an the hostas. Small, but potent. I'll have this blanket done for a high school graduation gift. He won't sit down and make art, but he will pretend he's at art class. Where has July gone? And where have I been? Trying to get a handle on this keeping house thing. Working on a kimono top.

It takes courage to pay for another round of pills, more vials and needles, more tests, ultrasounds and surgeries. It takes courage to wait in those waiting rooms and drive to those clinics, so often by yourself. It takes courage to remember to be happy for others. It takes courage to remember to be happy for yourself.

Sunday, August 9, 2015. Honestly I can't believe it's only Sunday. Yesterday was one of those surprisingly productive days - we slept in, did our usual "Dipping Toast" breakfast (french toast), had some family visit and I still feel like I got a lot done. Thanks to that family visit we're drowning in produce - peppers, cherry tomatoes, peaches, pears. Oh so good. Dill spears and Bread and Butter slices. I also learned that you can can peppers! So I sliced up (wear gloves! Because it just sounds delicious!

Life was feeling a little bit stale and boring during this ridiculously cold NY winter - and there's nothing like good news and Spring weather to give you a little kick in the behind to start blogging again! So excited to be linking up with April. We always knew that we would someday end up back in South Carolina and I am so stinking proud of Joe for working so incredibly hard to make that a reality! Spring is FINALLY here!
