There are several things you should do when you receive your flowers to keep them fresh and healthy for as long as possible. When you receive your flowers:. Take them out of their packaging as soon as possible. Immerse your flowers in cool water for about 30 minutes, we use the bath tub. Gently shake the water from the flowers and let them air dry a few minutes. Cut 1/2 inch off the flower stem. Change the water and cut the stems every other day. Avoid storing them in drafty or direct sun areas.
