Thursday, May 31, 2007. After Rachel mentions how she is not. Addicted to coffee for the fifth day in a row, I decide we had better go seek out a good cuppa. Fortunately good coffee is easy to find. We head straight for the coffee plantation in Hoolehua (central Molokai). They give out free samples which I enjoy, while Rachel purrs over her 16oz Latte. This was breakfast earlier that morning at the beach village. I really can't imagine a better dinning atmosphere. Here's Rachel cracking her own nut.

Saturday, August 08, 2015. OK so it is definitely shingles. Kudos to the urgent care doctor who diagnosed me even though the rash was not fully formed. The rash is now very obvious. I have been on anti-viral meds for 24 hours and the rash is still getting worse. eeek! I keep thinking the pain is getting less, but then my oxycodone starts to wear off, and I am like, "ow.". Thursday, August 06, 2015. I think I might have shingles. I went to an urgent care clinic this morning. The test results won't be back for a while. I had been hoping Brynn would get the Varicella virus on her own so that we would not have to vaccinate her against chickenpox. pbth! That was a good theory, but now I am sick. My old fashion varicella immunity routine seems stupid. And I am hope hope hoping that Brynn has not already contracted it from me. Here is Brynn helping Larry with his play dough.
