http://commentthisout.blogspot.com/2007/02/flower-power.html
Thursday, February 15, 2007. The London Telegraph reports. Do they not realize that all sorts of goods are imported every single day, many of them by plane? If they take that logic to its extreme then no consumer goods at all should be imported since it is concievable that everything can be produced locally. Imagine what that would do to the economy, not just for Britain, but for all countries exporting to Britain. Posted by Avrom at 12:32 PM. The Best of the Web. A day in the life of a mother.

Sunday, October 14, 2007. Kosher Subway in Toronto with Wal-Mart? Construction of a massive Wal-Mart. Are there any Wal-Marts which are not. Is nearing completion in Thornhill, north of Toronto. This new Wal-Mart is slightly more stylish than others (i.e. instead of the plain "boxy" look, they have "dressed it up" a bit. And is said to include a kosher grocery section. I was talking to my friend this past Shabbos. As of yet, I'm not sure if this is true or not. Posted by Avrom at 11:14 AM. The Top n Excu...

Friday, December 26, 2003. Air Farce a Farce. Lately, I have become more and more disappointed with the Royal Canadian Air Farce. As each year progresses, they seem to be less funny. Also, some of their sketches have a strident anti Iraq war tone. I wouldn't mind it if it was funny (I do realize its comedy and not meant to be taken seriously) but its not. Also, Rogert Abbott. And now, Chretien's gone ('okayes for sures on dat'). Hopefully, the Farce will improve. Maybe they can haul John Morgan. Language...

(or worse, "There are no specs! 5- "The bug exists in 3rd party code." (and worse, ".and its closed source."). The Best of the Web.

Monday, September 29, 2003. Maturity of a Country. I just watched a show on CBC Newsworld. Called Hemispheres which had on a guest commentator from Australia. As one would expect, he compared and contrasted our two countries. He used the analogy that the two were like a pair of teenagers (I guess being relatively young countries) that had started to "grow up" as it were. And what was his examples of "growing up"? Does that make any sense? Does that really demonstrate maturity? Posted by Avrom at 10:20 PM.
