Our Russian Adoption Journey. Our Journey to Russia to bring home (hopefully! A brother and sister for our awesome three year old. Wednesday, December 19, 2007. So, things are good all around today. Another family with our agency is interested in adopting the boys we turned down. I'm so glad to hear that they are the children another family has been dreaming about. I wish them a happy and healthy life with their new parents. Hope everyone is doing well and hope we all have wonderful news in the New Year!

This year, I'm thinking of it as a new beginning. I'm really hopeful that our adoption will happen this year and I'm hopeful that our lives will no longer be on hold and that we can decide to really live again. So that's that. My year didn't begin Jan 1. It began today. Happy New Year! Happy New Year and Happy Birthday.

I'm in shock and I'm completely freaking out. It's not exactly what we had expected, so we're trying to process it all now. We have our bio DS who will be 3 in Jan. The call is for TWO BOYS! Oh man. I'm in a total panic. I think I'm just in total shock! That would be a handful. Congratz on the call! How very, very exciting!

Where Is Little Roo? Monday, November 24, 2008. Meg has been Little Miss Cranky lately - all thanks to 2 more teeth coming in on top! One popped through on the top left 2 weekends ago, and the one on the right is coming through now. She has 8 teeth now - 2 on the bottom, 6 on top. We keep waiting for more on the bottom so she can "balance out". LOL! Everyone says "oh look at her two little teeth! And I say "and there's 6 more on top that you can't see! So don't stick your fingers in her mouth - yowie!

Where Is Little Roo? Tuesday, February 26, 2008. Our finalization hearing was perfect! What a wonderful day! It was pretty emotional at the end when we realized this was IT. Of course, we had tons of pictures taken and a video! Then we went off to dinner with all our family that attended and I think it was a great day for everyone. A very happy occasion indeed. Meaghan was given a special bunny to commemorate her special day! She was pretty enamored with her new friend! Telling Bear all about her big day!

A walk in the world of the wild1s. Friday, July 12, 2013. It began as a side mention. It blossomed into one of the best weekends in memory. It ends with a whispered prayer. "God, let me have at least one more weekend there, like that, before I'm to the edge with desire for salt and sand." There are some stories best left to the ocean.kinda like Vegas.
