Friday, November 11, 2011. I haven't done a post just on Landen and how much he's growing in such a long time. He cracks me up all the time. He is talking SO good- 3 and 4 syllable words, big long sentences, and his conceptual understanding is phenomenal. Smart little guy (just like Momma! Today, when he was at preschool he had a funny conversation with one of his teachers that went something like this. Landen: "You got glasses on your face? Landen: "No, I've got eyes on my face.". And a funny story!

Wednesday, November 02, 2011. Weston's 2nd XC Event. Weston ran in his 2nd cross country event (yes, a few weeks ago, I'm THAT behind again) and did SO good! I was really impressed with how well he is running and how much he enjoys it. He finished 11th overall for the 6th grade class out of like 30 or so runners. I can't wait until 7th grade when he can be "officially" on the XC team! But these kids are a great group of guys who really enjoy running and their Coach sees that in them! Third Day "Follow Me".

Sunday, October 09, 2011. Kylie is doing Pittbull Cheerleading this year and loving every minute of it! Here are pics of her at the Kick-Off as well as at her first game! She is doing so good and her tumbling skills are really standing out- very proud of this little cheerleader! We were meant to be COURAGEOUS! Monday, May 30, 2011. I am SOOOO ready for our house! It's coming along wonderfully! Here are some more pics of progress. So far, everything has worked out wonderful! I know he wasn't so pleased though! Luckily, like I said, he only had the ceilings done at the point, so that was all he had to redo thankfully. I am just glad I said something though because I don't think I could've lived with that other color. Richie and I thought that other color reminded us of old lady make-up foundation! She is SO fast!

Friday, March 23, 2012. Gosh, I just plain stink at blogging. I used to be SO good. But I am now 2 months behind my last post that was a catch-up post! So, I will try and do a little catching up! I had surgery in December and spent most of the holiday and the first part of the year recovering. But, I am doing SO much better now and seem to be fully healed! I have been able to build my running back up and am doing a 1/2 marathon on April 15th! In other news, the kids are growing and changing so much!

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Lol This weekend 15 and then 20! Then decreasing until "game day". On another note JT had some test run today and is wearing a 24 hour heart monitor tonight. Hoping to find out results in the next day or two. Prayers. Friday, January 20, 2012. Training update- 44 days! 44 days till Little Rock Marathon! I just pray each day that I make it through the rest of the training and ultimetly finish the marathon successfully! The joys of getting old! SO PROUD OF YOU JT! Me and my hubby.

Sunday, August 26, 2012. Start of a new year and so much more. This year is bitter sweet. Not only is JT growing up way to fast, but Pate started kindergarten! Pate has Mrs. Bryan and she loves her. She is so sweet, patient and loves on her kids all the time. What a great feeling to know your kids are in great hands all day. I have an amazing class this year! The kids are so sweet, smart and fun! I am excited to see her grow as a gymnast and cant wait to see where this will take her! Me and my hubby.

Thursday, April 19, 2012. What's meant to be . Will be. Things are falling into place. I have prayed long and hard about all of this and putting it in God's hands. I feel good about our decision and I know if it's meant to be. It will be. 26 days of school left! I saw a saying the other day that said "I love that I'm surrounded by good friends and family. Sunday, October 21, 2012. Your skins are different colors". As I'm out on the field coaching during the soccer game I'm visiting with our goaly "B" and Pate. Pate says something to me and calls me mom. "B" says are you her mom? I said yes. He gets the most perplexed look on his face and says "your skins are different colors". I said yes, Pate is adopted.
