Books I Am Reading. Books I Read To My Children That I Would Read Over and Over Again . . . in a heartbeat! As I look back over my years of raising children, there are things that I would do over again in a heartbeat. One of them is to read books aloud. Sometimes it would be 10 minutes a day, but my goal was always 20 to 30 minutes a day. I would hold the youngest one or two children on my lap and the rest would gather on our sofa.
