Meetings & Activities

MOMIE members meet once each month, on the second Tuesday at 7:30 PM. We alternate locations between St. Barnabas hospital in Livingston, NJ and at a local restaurant. The meetings at St. Barnabas are in January, March, May, July September and November. At these meetings we usually welcome new members, have discussions on issues or experiences and also welcome speakers. Play Dates and Parties. We also host an annual picnic. This is also a family event at a local park with fences to prevent escapees!

A multiple pregnancy or raising multiples can present some unique situations. At our meetings and on our message boards we discuss it all. MOMIE is a great resource to not only gain from the experience of others, but also recommendations for doctors and specialists for mom and babies, nannies, classes and any other topic that crosses your mind. Membership is open to adults expecting or raising multiples. While most of our members live in Essex County, it is not a requirement. Members can choose to participate in-person by attending meetings, play dates and activities. Or you can simply choose to be a member by participating in our on-line messaging group, which is a great way to access more than 50 of your peers.
