Kiki's Blog | it’s a crazy, crazy, fun world. join me, won’t ya?
June 16, 2013 · 11:03 am. The teenage years begin. I know I’m not the only mom out there struggling. Why are the teenage years so hard? Everyone keeps telling me “oh he’s just a teenager.” What the hell does that mean? I’m sorry I just can NOT deal with that. At least I don’t want to should I say. I’ve heard the science; the teenage brain is not fully developed, blah, blah, blah. But does that mean I have to put up with it? This just started and I’m already at my wits end. Uuugg. Am I too sensitive?

Prepping myself for the life-change. Jan 2, 2017. I am on a mission to lose this gut and tone up my body overall! An hour a day it is (Lord Help ME! Mom in the Muddle | Getting Through All Life Slings Her Way
Mom in the Muddle. July 25, 2015 · 11:04 am. I’ll Tell You When You’re Older. When I was a kid, I hated being the youngest. I always had to wait another year, another grade, a little longer. Pierced ears, staying home alone, R movies, adult discussions. No phrase rubbed it in more than I’ll tell you when you’re older. If I had kept tabs on all the promises people were supposed to tell me when I got older, at some point in my life I was in for a windfall. The question was, when exactly was older? I rememb...
Mom in the Pink
Wednesday, December 16, 2009. I wanted some creative and cheap new decorations for our house for Christmas this year. Well, a friend posted about these great pom-poms that she made for a friend's daughter's birthday and I decided that was it! These are super easy to make. You just need some tissue paper ( 8 sheets for each), jewelry making wire and whatever you want to hang them with (I used some old ribbon). 4 Cut the two ends - either rounded or "v" works best. Cute and very cheap! Also, my friend, Kel...
Mom In The Raw
Mom In The Raw. Sunday, March 19, 2017. This year started in a shaken way, it was like we lived in a snow globe and someone just shook, and shook, and shook as hard as they could. They just kept shaking until finally, it stopped. And there was just a mess to be cleaned and I felt like I was cleaning alone, because when you have a husband who runs a business alone, most times you're alone. I confided in a few people, my mom, my sister in law and my mother in law. The only 3 that I felt would hear me o...
Mom in the Rouge: Just another Mom along for the ride
Mom in the Rouge. Just another Mom along for the ride. Posted by behindtheshutter@rogers.com. February 17, 2014. As a portrait photographer I take a lot of family photos. As a new mom on top of this I am taking a lot of “first” family photos and constantly hear the same thing from the moms. Every one of these mama’s has been beautiful. There is nothing more gorgeous than the glow of a new mom. I think I have passed it along to more people than I know. The Mom Stays in the Picture. Last weekend, my family...
