Incomparable – Reduction Physics
https://casimira.wordpress.com/2015/05/09/2468
2014 Read the Books I Already Have List. May 9, 2015. May 9, 2015. Sometimes I get stuck when I sit down to write. I think about the funny profundity of Anne Lamott, or the simple honesty of my friend Sarah Fragoso. Or the exquisitely, pointedly profound thoughts of Jen Louden. I don’t write. Anything. Because what is the point? Mostly one doesn’t. One just thinks about it. All the time, like I did. Like I still do, but not so much since I started doing something about it last August. Who said, “Co...

2014 Read the Books I Already Have List. Sick on Tuesday (and Wednesday), Special Soup. April 14, 2015. April 15, 2015. Today is the third day in a row that I’ve been sick. I finally took a day off work and it’s a good thing I did, as I’m coughing so dramatically that it’d be embarrassing to be at school. I was sick yesterday, too, but I went to school. Several students suggested that I should stay home today. They didn’t know how right they were! Here are my ingredients today:. 1 big leek, finely sliced.

Choose Happiness – Reduction Physics
https://casimira.wordpress.com/2015/04/21/choose-happiness
2014 Read the Books I Already Have List. April 21, 2015. April 25, 2015. Last weekend I spied this little vignette on the fence of the nursery, and it hit me like a revelation. “Choose Happiness? 8221; Of course! Just make the choice, it’s all within my power. I just have to choose. I was all about putting something like this on my fence, because if I”m reminded, I’ll probably always make the right choice. Or mostly, anyway. A big house that’s way too orange for its own good. Right, nobody. Then whil...

2014 Read the Books I Already Have List – Reduction Physics
https://casimira.wordpress.com/2014-read-the-books
2014 Read the Books I Already Have List. 2014 Read the Books I Already Have List. By Annie Nigh Ward. I thought this book would be fluffy, but I was surprised. It is such a picture of living with uncertainty and difficulty, and gives a different look at the face of an American versus a person who is from a darker sort of culture. It’s hard to explain, I guess, but I can’t put it down. 1 A Hundred Flowers. This is Where I Leave You,. When We Were Strangers,. By Veronica Roth. This is the continuation ...

Reduction Physics – Page 2 – Thinking and writing.
https://casimira.wordpress.com/page/2
2014 Read the Books I Already Have List. On Having Writer’s Angst. May 23, 2015. May 23, 2015. Light on the pathway. Magical. A writer has to write. Doesn’t matter who or if anyone reads it. It doesn’t, and I need to keep that in mind. Sometimes I just seem to forget that part of who I am. I am a writer. Simple as that. But when I don’t write, what am I? A wonderer or a thinker? Really bad. Out of focus, weak light, poor composition. Very discouraging. So hm. What am I saying here? May 13, 2015. After th...

My Yearly Booklists – Reduction Physics
https://casimira.wordpress.com/my-2012-booklist
2014 Read the Books I Already Have List. I’m moving my book list to this site this year. It’ll be updated as I read. My reading goal this year is hmmm…a little more non-fiction mixed in with all the delicious novels I can’t resist. I wonder if I should decide to read less this year (like get a life? 8230;but reducing my reading probably won’t happen, so I won’t decide that. Let me know if there’s a book I absolutely must read but have missed! On a roll, can’t stop reading. By Miriam Toews. I haven...
