I’d forgotten how wonderful it feels to hold a sweet little baby. My mother has commented on how lucky I am that both of my daughters like to be cuddled and snuggled. We welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world on Monday, December 8, 2008. Cadence Laurelei arrived at 12:17 PM after about six hours of labor at 7 lbs 11 ounces and 21 inches. Life, Writing, and Other Things. We’ve had a pretty decent weekend, I think. Last night, we attended a surprise party for my husband’s grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary. The girls have been pretty good, but a little bit of trouble. I’ve had to get onto the big sister I don’t even know how many times and we’ve only been up and moving for 1.5 hours. Whilst on my run today, I was thinking about my devotion from this morning. Thinking. Getting mad at current events in the news. Getting mad at my blister-ridden feet… If you follow me at all, you pretty much know where I stand on issues. I stand with the Bible. I stand on the absolute Truth that this world was given.
