Momma's Write: They Really Didn't Know?!
http://mommaswrite.blogspot.com/2010/11/they-really-didnt-know.html
Where moms go for a satisfying cup of sanity. Wednesday, November 3, 2010. They Really Didn't Know? I didn’t know I was pregnant.". I thought it was all that fast-food I had been eating. I blamed it on pre-wedding stress. I figured the heartburn was because of all the ice cream I was noshing on before bed. (Bad idea.). I didn’t have any symptoms at all! I thought the discomfort was because of my back problem—I had surgery a few years ago. By the way, I’m not. NOT, NO WAY. Talking about ME here.). Hmm Wel...
Momma's Write: Tummy Tub
http://mommaswrite.blogspot.com/2010/11/tummy-tub.html
Where moms go for a satisfying cup of sanity. Friday, November 12, 2010. It was the most expensive bucket I’ll ever buy. And it doesn’t even have handles. But Tummy Tub. That ceramic floor is not very forgiving.) My back! The bathroom is a mess! I miss the T.T. But wait, here’s an idea. We have a vat-sized bucket in the garage—one made from super-sturdy plastic with thick rope handles. We used it as a beer cooler, but why not a tub? November 12, 2010 at 10:06 AM. November 12, 2010 at 12:01 PM. Im going t...
Momma's Write: Going Bananas!
http://mommaswrite.blogspot.com/2010/11/going-bananas.html
Where moms go for a satisfying cup of sanity. Friday, November 12, 2010. Max has an appetite like a monkey. At least tonight. The fare? Pureed bananas. (Zoo monkeys would be jealous, you know.) Watch this YoutTube clip. As Max opens his mouth like a baby bird, "Oooo, Ooo, mooore, mooore! He's a foodie. And if smashed 'naners are exciting, wait until we can eat cookies at the mall! Sounds from the farm animals sound buttons. Other than that, things are really normal around here. Ha! What I Learned About.

Where moms go for a satisfying cup of sanity. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Max will do anything to avoid a nap.but he can repeat this. Trick-of-the-day anytime (and I've been waiting for it! Max, time for a nap.goodnight," I said to him softly with encouragement. Then, he looked me in the eye, and I looked at him. He spoke: " Mama. He said it twice, enunciating, even. There was no other babble, just "Mama. Mama." (Don't leave.). My heart skipped and I lifted him out of the crib and gave him a big hug!

http://mommaswrite.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Where moms go for a satisfying cup of sanity. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Moms with Multi-Tasking Mojo - Share! I’m the type of person that thrives on feeling productive. I like to get stuff done. The more, the better. Now as a work-at-home mom with a business, a baby, a dog who I treat like a baby (I realize I have it much easier than most with just one tot! Get ready to share! I can walk the dog, sift through email and ogle at Max in his stroller while burning off the cookie I ate for breakfast.

Adventures with Doodle: December 2011
http://adventureswithdoodle.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 14, 2011. My sister-in-law sent me this story. The other day. Having a daughter named Sophia, I had to read it. I am reluctant to overly encourage and share Princess stuff with Sophia. I prefer her to watch the more neutral movies and TV programs like Winnie the Pooh, Cat in the Hat, Fireman Sam. Etc and if we are going to watch a movie I'm glad she will pick Cars over a princess. You are not going to be teaching my daughter much to relate to. There aren't a lot of sparkly new dresses...

Adventures with Doodle: Mother Nature
http://adventureswithdoodle.blogspot.com/2011/08/mother-nature.html
Friday, August 26, 2011. I was at my desk, in the basement of my building, ALONE (there are no other offices in the basement! We're so sorry." They didn't think to yell downstairs or look for me in the panic. If I loose my freezer stash I will be devastated. Luckily my neighbor is part owner of a generator company! I hope he has one at the ready for us. So we are doing okay. Just waiting for the next event. Trying to stay safe and calm. Batten down the hatches! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Adventures with Doodle: January 2012
http://adventureswithdoodle.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 29, 2012. They are just products and companies I use and love! This 7 yards of fabric has been a life saver. It allows you to hold baby close and snuggle but still gives you the benefit of being hands free! Another great carrier. Is is comfortable and won't fatigue your back like some of the other carriers on the market. You can front or rear carry and even side carry and it is good up to 40 lbs! The diaper seem expensive at first but considering I've used them through two kids it doesn't...

Adventures with Doodle: Starting to sink in...
http://adventureswithdoodle.blogspot.com/2014/06/starting-to-sink-in.html
Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Starting to sink in. I think I'm starting to get it. It's not about the money we make or how well we do our job. It's about all that space in between. The "down time." Are we on our devise? Or are we paying attention to the kids. Really, really paying attention. Are we crossing things off the to do list? Or are we tending to the garden, letting the sun warm us from the outside in? The more I feel stuck, the more I way to break free. Unruffled my feathers and fly. Elf on the Shelf.

Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Elf on the Shelf. On my way into work this morning I drove along, hitting my face, scanning the radio, driving with the window open so I could stay awake. Emma has been getting me up twice a night and it is just exhausting. As I was nearly pulling into work I received a phone call. As we are now in the Christmas and Advent season our Elf on the Shelf. After discovering an awesome Flickr feed. I realized we needed to up our Elf placement this year. It's these random and little ...

Adventures with Doodle: June 2011
http://adventureswithdoodle.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 25, 2011. We are having some of Phillip's former students over for a cookout tonight and I should be helping to get a few last minute things done. But, the girls are BOTH napping so the work is going to have to wait while I write. I went grocery shopping today and bought some wholesome organic eggs, milk, strawberries, apples and whole wheat pitas and Wasa. You are what you eat. And I know my stomach is YELLING at me to change my ways. Thursday, June 23, 2011. My Chakra Is Out of Balance.

Adventures with Doodle: Sick of being Sick!
http://adventureswithdoodle.blogspot.com/2012/01/sick-of-being-sick.html
Friday, January 27, 2012. Sick of being Sick! I think it is time to fumigate our house and rid of all germs. January has been nothing but one long revolving cold for our family. Sophia came home from school on January 6 with a runny nose and a cough. She seemed a little better Saturday morning so we proceeded with our plans for the day. We even went to our neighbors for dinner (gee I hope they didn't get the bug! This doesn't include that the original cold has cycled through both Phillip and I too. A...

Adventures with Doodle: October 2011
http://adventureswithdoodle.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 26, 2011. I hate that I haven't been on top of my blogging. I miss sharing glimpses into my life and interesting things I've observed or thought about. I'm just tired. I don't like feeling this way and everything is suffering. Piles to go through in nearly every room. Laundry that seems to take forever to put away. Papers that need to be filed. Halloween costumes that need to be completed. Way too many overdue library books and fines to pay. I don't really see an end in the near future...

Adventures with Doodle: July 2011
http://adventureswithdoodle.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 09, 2011. Happieness is measured in ounces. I think I've figured out the key to my happiness at least while I'm lactating. Phillip went to a conference today so I had to wrangle the girls by myself all day. Emma was up at 6:00am and wasn't convinced that snuggling in bed with me after I nursed her was going to be enjoyable so we were up and at 'em. I sent up a quiet little prayer to please have Sophia stay in bed past 6:30am figuring she had stirred when I went to retrieve Emma. Emma-for a...

Life On the record. The Foodie Speaks Up. Didn’t like snack today. Said: ‘Go to Heinen’s? Apparently, Heinen’s appeals to Little Dude’s refined tastebuds. Who can blame the guy? We arrive at the grocery store with the promise of a free kiddie cookie from the bakery, followed by a square of floppy-plastic American cheese from the deli. (Deee-licious! The exploration of becoming a professional teacher. The Proof’s in the Pudding. Takashi in Japan. I love Michigan. Hello I am Takashi. I had been staying in Michigan in 2004. Now I came back to Japan. Now, I'm still studying English! American soldier want to stay in Japan, because Japan locate convenient place to supervise North Korea, Iraqis or other dangerous country. For Japan, it sounds so bad, because we don’t have enough place and money to give them. We have a kind of the military. We can protect ourselves without relying on American military.
