Friday, December 28, 2007. Here is Zoe enjoying one of her Christmas treats in the shade of the grape laden pergola. And yes, we will be able to lay in the hammock and bite grapes off of the vine! Zoe being protective of her new squirrel! Joy and Brian getting ready for stockings! Zoe, very keen on getting into her stocking. Brian tending to Christmas dinner, Salmon marinated in soy sauce and maple syrup and grilled on the BBQ. BBQs on Christmas are a Kiwi tradition. My firs trifle ever!

Friday, August 10, 2007. Well, I am on the move again. Just waiting in anticipation for my ride to the airport. I am off to Sydney for a night and then on to NYC/Connecticut, Vermont, then Maine and finally New Hampshire. I am feeling a bit sad leaving my family here ( darrel. Monday, April 21, 2008. It is the almost perfect secondhand kitchen! After months and months of looking. There are so many pieces, we will have extra cupboards to fit out the laundry! So far Darrel Demo'd part of the old kitchen leaving the sink and old cupboard in place, then we set up a temporary kitchen with the old bench top to make do while we fix up the walls, do some painting and get read for the big install! The door project begins with a new few new tools, some beautifu recycled rimu from the building recycler and an old door.
