I'll try to do a quick overview of what's been up with pictures! 1st day of school 2010. Celebrating Christa's 12th b-day with a Pac-Man cake. Fog Fest parade 2010. My brother home for a visit after 2 yrs in Africa! We took a trip down to San Diego for my son's Marine Corps bootcamp graduation. Sailor Moon for Halloween 2010. Rachel Berry from Glee (tv show). I was a little frustrated with blogger, everytime I tried to post anything with pictures the computer would freeze. grrr. So anyway two weeks ago my oldest child, you know the one I've been gushing over. Graduation, parties. This month he celebrates turning 18 so in honor of that. Peanut butter cup cake. Saturday, May 8, 2010. 5 things I'm lovin' right now. 1 Pottery Barn Chandelier Knock Off. I love the tutorials over at Living with Lindsay. 2 Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. I must try these. Friday, April 30, 2010. Monday, April 26, 2010. Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. I was craving oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and I don't really have a favorite recipe so I used the one on the oatmeal container! I forgot to lay out the chocolate chips! If you don't have a Silpat, get one! I then use a regular large spoon to scoop out my cookies. I'm able to fit 12 cookies on the baking sheet. I ended up with 36 cookies. I love, love, love my Silpat. I got mine from Bed Bath and Beyond. 1 tsp baking powder.
