Monday, January 6, 2014. Undoubtedly, when faced with something as tragic as losing a child, questions will arise in our minds. Questions about faith, about God and His character, about how this can be labeled "good". It's a very hard thing and feels almost wrong. But I'd like to say, these questions are not wrong, not at all. Isn't always helpful and doesn't always help the way we feel. And because we know people will give us these answers, I think we shy away from sharing. I'd like to change that.

This week of Christmas, my house was visited by the dark angel of projectile vomiting, diarrhea, pink eye, third trimester heart burn, migraines, LIRR delays and a large family of mice (and their mole cousins) in our basement.
