Wednesday, January 26, 2011. I TOTALLY FREAKIN' DREW A T-REX! When I was thinking about starting a blog, a major source of consternation for me was the idea of drawing. Most decent blogs are illustrated. After all, what's a good story without pictures? But I thought to myself, "I can't illustrate my blog, I can't draw worth crap! Then I said, "Eh, screw it. I'll do it anyway." I decided to try my hand at MS Paint and draw a T-Rex for my title bar. AND I TOTALLY DID IT! January 26, 2011 at 11:53 AM.

This is from our time spent living in the great state of Texas. Now, we are northerners. We are corn-fed, born-and-raised Hoosiers from Indiana. But for two years, our jobs brought us down south to the Lone Star State. So, we developed a certain disdain for insects (especially roaches) during our stint as Texans.

Thursday, January 27, 2011. Why Tide isn't good for cleaning floors. We had a playdate at our house on Tuesday afternoon, so I spent the majority of Tuesday cleaning so my mommy friends wouldn't know how much of a slob I am.
