Mommy and Mum Dream of A Baby. Thursday, 11 April 2013. IUI#4 didn't work. So there will be no Christmas baby in our house this year. Our hearts are broken again and I'm feeling like my body is defective. We are taking a much needed break now. I'm not sure when or if we will try again. Hopefully 2011 will be more settled and comfortable in our new city. We had our first blizzard yesterday. Along with shoveling and a snow day from work. And then I had to shovel some more at work. When the maintenance crew goes on vacation without a back-up plan, well, even the clinicians have to pitch in. So I don’t share it. I guess I did fade away. So why update?

I used to have a great memory. Then Luci was born, and I started asking my friends, How old was your child when he or she [insert major milestone here]? It made absolutely no sense to me when my friend answered, I can’t remember how old she was when she started teething. Or, I can’t recall exactly what age he went off the bottle. Well, Luci is one and a half, and I totally get it now. No, he replied. Sort of. I’ll give you a hint, he was eating alone. How is that a hint? You’re missing a major category.
