Wednesday, January 26, 2011. A cowboy and his horse. It was a sad morning at the ranch recently. We had to tell an old friend goodbye. Boots had been our horse for over 20 years. The last two winters had been especially hard on him. Might end up on the ground or with many scratches. Boots participated in a senior portrait session. Roger was hesitant, thinking that he would take them off and then have to put them right back on. But with the prodding of both Avery and Emilia, he gave in. We went to Redbox and decided that "Rango" would be the perfect choice, so we paid our $1 and headed home. :) As it turned out we got the evening to ourselves because Collin fell asleep early. I hope we will be able to return for the Christmas light display, but I guess we will have to wait and see. She has been my best friend and biggest supporter my whole life.I am a pretty lucky girl! Unfortunately living so far away makes visits so much more challenging, but I am grateful that she was able to sneak in one more visit before she had to go back to work! Just putting down thoughts. Monday, January 28, 2008. Hackers attacking YM users! This is not a forwarded email message. My friend fell victim and lost Php10,000 pesos worth of cell phone loads! The hacker pretended to be her friend working in. And chatted with her. The hacker asked for cell loads saying he would be selling them to other Filipinos in. My friend seeing an opportunity willingly sent the load in full faith that she is sending the amount to her friend. How did he do it? Links to this post.
