Quilts, Crafts and Stuff. P90X3 Review - Week 1. My husband and I finished the first week of P90X3 (X3) this week. We only did 5 days because we had baseball stuff pretty much all day on Saturday. We may work out today, but I don't know. Anyway, I really like it so far. I really liked P90X when I did it, as well as Jillian Michaels Body Revolution. Quilts, Crafts and Stuff. Yesterday while grocery shopping I saw they had some peeled and chopped butternut squash. I love making squash, but I HATE cleaning it, so I jumped at the chance and decided to make some butternut squash risotto. And, it was awesome! I love making risotto, and have tried several different kinds. This was a big winner. I used the recipe in the Williams Sonoma Risotto cookbook below, and it's awesome. So, the next time you see some chopped squash at the store, consider making this!

Quilts, Crafts and Stuff. I finally had the stitches taken out of my finger last Friday. The stitches were holding a little piece of what looked like tin foil on my nail bed. It was inserted under my cuticle to ensure that the cuticle did not heal to the nail bed because if that happens the nail will not grow back! The stitches were really bothersome, so I was glad to have them taken out, but now my nail bed is super sensitive! Anyway, I'm feeling better, and I've been sewing, though with . Flying With ...

I really didn't give it much thought for most of my life as it wasn't an important component in my friendships, and if anyone ever made a negative comment about adoption I usually just ignored it.
