Mom on the Lane. Sunday, July 12, 2015. Thankful for these three kiddos and their family! In one week we met them at basketball camp, then Camp Caudle, and then played basketball together! Our kids were meant to be friends! This week we had them over to swim, and Saturday Richard took all the kids on a hike. Mom on the Lane. Sunday, May 31, 2015. SO, tomorrow we change zip codes. For the first time in 20 years. I've had trouble not driving to our old house, how in the world am I going to get around Russellville? I'm going to only be in town 2 days until I go to RL owner's conference for 5 days. It's going to be unreal to step away from the boxes and the children. We've signed a one year lease so we can have a place where we can settle while we build. Who knows what this next year will hold? Mom on the Lane. Monday, February 23, 2015. Cameron is a Reader! This is a big deal. Cameron hit 50 Accelerated Points at school, and therefore got his name on the school light board. Others have hit 75, 100, etc, but reading and getting the point enough to answer questions on a test is a big deal. It's always a nice day with family. The weather was perfect- so we were able to hunt eggs outside. Saturday, March 30, 2013. Mommy/Gracie day and Coloring Eggs. Monday, August 19, 2013. First day of school. Today was the first day of first grade for Grasen and the first day of pre-k for Bayler. They were both very excited to start back to school. Friday, May 31, 2013. Last day of school. Today was the last day of kindergarten for Grasen and last day of preschool (this year) for Bayler. I didn't think they changed too much until I really inspected their pictures. Grasen grew taller and thinned up. Bayler lost his baby look. We had a super year! Saturday, August 31, 2013. Grasen turned 7 on the 23rd. We celebrated today with some family and her little friends from school. Each of the girls decorated a little 6" cake to take home. I had so much fun pulling this party together and even more fun watching the girls have a blast icing their cakes in their aprons and hats. They were so quiet and focused the whole time. Tuesday, January 29, 2013. 100th day of school. Today was the 100th day of school, which is a huge celebration when you're in the elementary grades. We get to walk through a big 100 to get to our classrooms, participate in fun activities that are all centered around the number 100, and eat fun snacks! I needed a couple school supplies at the store so I bought him a new truck before we went to the dr. He was very brave. He had 3 separate shots and cried a little just on the last one.
