Monday, January 10, 2011. I called my mother before we left and she said, “Altho’ we didn’t do anything stupendous, it was a very nice visit. I’m glad you were here.” I felt the same way. Monday, January 10, 2011. First Week of 2011. It was good to get back to the FHC last Wednesday. We had more patrons than we’d seen for two or three months. I helped quite a few people. Sunday, August 08, 2010. The second week of August already! Today for church I was able to wear my sandals with 1 ¼ inch heels- The first time since I’ve had surgery. My foot didn’t even swell too much. I’m thankful that the swelling is decreasing. There for a while I wondered if it would. We had good meetings—all three of them. We also went to the temple a week ago Friday. We have been averaging once a month. Hopefully we can increase it to twice a month. We’ll see. Entry for August 1, 2010. My Daughter...

The Museum of Manufactured Response to Absence (MoMRtA) is conceived in response to the absence of people and documents relating to the history of Palestinians in Kuwait, who formed a vibrant community from their arrival in 1936 until their departure enmasse following the Iraqi invasion in 1990. MoMRtA premiered as an intervention at the Museum of Modern Art in Kuwait on May 22, 2012, under the patronage of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, Kuwait.
