Tuesday, February 14, 2012. I Caught Myself Whining. Would you please stop hitting! Wa, Wa Wah. I caught myself whining just like my children. What an ugly encounter that. I thoroughly dislike whining. It's like the dripping faucet, the annoying ring, anything that grinds the nerves. I'm sure my husband and children don't enjoy me speaking to them in a whiny tone either. Remember Proverbs 19:13 says, "the contentions of a wife are a continual dripping." I think it pertains to a mother too. I Cant Do It!

His infirmity limited him so that before he could reach the waters someone else would step down before him and he would miss the touch of healing. Was there no one willing to lead him and give safe passsage to the waters? What about the religious people standing by? Jesus wasn't bound by religious institution or laws. Jesus didn't ignore this man or his need.

I still behaved like everyone else. I was still bound by my own choices. It was the faithfulness of a dear sister that shook me to the core. Her letter, to the point, convicted me deeply. I had a choice; remain in my sin or turn from sin that had ensnared me. It could have torn apart our friendship but she obediently wrote the letter.
