Sunday, January 2, 2011. We had a nice summer. Lots of work, lots of play. We worked on our skiing and by July Mark and I both reached our goal for the summer - getting up and skiing on one ski instead of two. The kids love it too. They both learned how to climb on the Boogie Board and paddle it out behind the boat, grab the ski ropes and yell go! Kristen even learned to stand up on kind of a ski board pulled by the boat. This July has been busy busy. Busy, being mostly stuff like this. Love summer. Fourth of July morning I took the boys to the Rexburg parade. They are so sweet that they weren't getting any candy (the only way you could is if you pushed and shoved the other kids). some of the adults around noticed so they started catching candy for them and giving it to them :) They were so excited about it. Spring is finally here and we are thoroughly enjoying it! We all keep getting sunburns from staying outside at parks too long :) Makes happier kids and happier moms all over. This Easter we spent at my brother-in-law's parent's house in Murray. They are the sweetest people and are always inviting us all over to spend holidays with them at their beautiful home. Their backyard is the perfect place for an easter egg hunt and the kids hunted and ate candy til they dropped. Other highlights of the week:.

Guess who just turned 3? My little baby stinker Crew is all grown up. He went from this. My favorite things about Crew:. He makes us all laugh every day. He can't say his "r's" or "l's" so he says things like "watessmelon" and "computess". He says hi to everyone he sees. He tells me every day, "Mom, You da best and pretty.". For Crew's birthday we took him to Trafalga where we did laser tag, bowling, rides, and arcade games. Then I took them to the requested McDonald's dinner (ew). Green faces all around.

Sooo, Phil flew out to Milwaukee last weekend to interview at Marquette for their P.A. Program. It went really well and we were happy when they called a few days later and offered a seat in their program! Class starts next August. It's nice to have all Phil's hard work pay off. We made a huge life change to pack up and move back to Rexburg, spent all our savings, and saw Phil NEVER as he worked hard to get all his prerequisites, job shadowing, work experience, and applications completed. This Halloween we got to spend with my sisters in Utah again. I love doing holidays with my sisters! So many little boys running around, lots of junk and games and love all around :). This year all the little cousins wanted to do a Star Wars theme together. It turned out awesome! Bruin was the BEST Darth Maul! He was so funny that all of us were almost peeing our pants laughing every time we looked at him! And silly little Crew was Luke Skywalker. We made the light sabers from a Pinterest tutorial :).
