Life, Unequally Yoked: In the Shadows
http://cavenderfamily.blogspot.com/2014/12/in-shadows.html
Life, Unequally Yoked. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-you and your household" Acts 16:31. Wednesday, December 17, 2014. I live an inconspicuous life to other Christians: I am married to an atheist. There are men, husbands of acquaintances, who will be talking to me and then suddenly look around wondering where my husband is, "Is he here? Each Sunday we are in Church. I would drop my 2 youngest off in their classes while the 2 older run ahead on their own. Row, left hand side. Yet we are...

Life, Unequally Yoked. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-you and your household" Acts 16:31. Friday, November 23, 2012. Today we celebrate 8 years of wedded “bliss”. I use that term in a light-hearted way because anyone who is biblically committed to their marriage knows the ups and downs, trials and turmoil’s, arguments and fights and many roadblocks that come with the journey. I am so proud of the husband and father Josh has come to be. I have watched him grow in himself and in his c...

She has a great personality. Sarah is such a great big sister. I know that all of her sisters look up to her. She loves driving them places and spending time with them. I am extremely blessed to be her mother. Happy Birthday Sarah! Posted by Stephanie Gormley. Thursday, February 10, 2011. Posted by Stephanie Gormley. Me and My Man.

Surving life with 5 kids and not going insane: Time goes on
http://survinglifewith5kids.blogspot.com/2015/07/time-goes-on.html
Surving life with 5 kids and not going insane. Thursday, July 9, 2015. It's been almost 7 months since I last posted on here. So much has happened I don't even know where to start. Missions, Basketball season, Life lessons, Graduations, starting College and so much more. Malcolm left his job of 3 years to go to work in a warehouse. He is usually working 50 hours every week. He has big plans that I can't speak of yet. But really big things are coming. Sebastian has probably grown a foot since school start...

The summer started out with Sarah and Hannah going to Girls Camp in Anna. They were home for 1 week and we all loaded up in the van for our Gormley 12 State Tour! The first we...

Life, Unequally Yoked. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-you and your household" Acts 16:31. Tuesday, November 4, 2014. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of sharing a kind of brief version of my testimony. I say brief because in hind sight, I left out a lot of life that plays into my current place with my Savior. Since I seem to never post blogs anymore, this one is the best place to start. Click on over to Praxis Womens. I was searching for a love and acceptance that I just couldn’...

Life, Unequally Yoked. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-you and your household" Acts 16:31. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. As we close on 2014, the year I turned 40, I find myself reflecting back on more than just this past year. I’m actually looking forward to the next decade because there is a small voice inside of me that tells me God has something really big in store. 2014 wasn’t a year full of milestones. I did start back to school and did better than expected my first semester. She c...

Life, Unequally Yoked: August 2014
http://cavenderfamily.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Life, Unequally Yoked. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-you and your household" Acts 16:31. Sunday, August 10, 2014. Concerns of the church. I'm in a new season. I'm questioning the focus of the church I've been attending for over 3 years; where it's heart and vision is and if the actions reflect that. Is the concern for quantity or quality? Are we converting non/unbelievers or bringing in new-to-the-area Christians? And what are we doing to mentor these new converts in their new life?
