These are some things you may want to consider:. 1) How extensive is the construction? Will it affect your existing kitchen and bathrooms for extended periods of time? More than 4 months? 3) Do you have kids?

Adding to Your Home Without Losing Your Mind, Marriage, or Life Savings: Oh the dust!
http://arlingtonhomeaddition.blogspot.com/2010/02/oh-dust.html
Tuesday, February 2, 2010. We have now been back in our house for 6 months and are still thrilled with the results. I still think it has been a great investment. The last week has made us thankful that we did not live in our house during the construction! A few days before Christmas, we got almost 2 feet of snow, and then on Christmas Day it was 50 degrees and it rained - a lot! I'll post pictures shortly, along with some final pictures of the renovation (not sure if I did that ever). I live in Arlington...

Adding to Your Home Without Losing Your Mind, Marriage, or Life Savings: April 2009
http://arlingtonhomeaddition.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2009. We were pretty surprised when our contractor called on Sunday to see if we had picked out a trim color - especially since we don't even have siding or windows up yet! Turns out, Jim wanted to get the high parts of the trim painted ( soffits. Mostly) while he still had temporary scaffolding up and before the pre. Goes up next week. Obviously he wants to avoid any drips on the new siding which seems like a pretty good idea to me considering the warranty on the siding! My one major ...

Will's World: June 2013
http://wills1world.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Two Wheeling on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. To fill you in, I got a new bike this spring and have enjoyed riding around, as usual going fast! On our last trip to the beach, my one of my training wheels was damaged, so they came off. Ever since, I have been riding with the help of my dad keeping me steady. TONIGHT, for the first time, my dad let go, and I sped away! Of course, I was so excited that I did not put my helmet on for this video.) I can ride a two wheeler! It was full of...
