Northwest Historical Miniature Gamer: May 2012
http://nhmgs.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Northwest Historical Miniature Gamer. Thursday, May 31, 2012. Projects: a look ahead. It's time for a little reflection over the past year and a little planning for the coming year. Yes, I know it's the end of May, but my wargaming year ends with the convention and I begin to think about what to do for the next Enfilade. So, at least at this point, that's where I am with potential Enfilade games. Nothing really new, except maybe for an air or sea game. I'd really just like to have an enjoyable ye...1 Hun...

Hobby Before I Die!: Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures Game - Space Gaming Mats
http://hobbybeforeidie.blogspot.com/2013/04/star-wars-x-wing-miniatures-game-space.html
Board and Card Games. Monday, 1 April 2013. Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures Game - Space Gaming Mats. The docking bay had really come into it's own since the owner had been to Carpet Right. Since I picked up the X-Wing Miniatures game I've been looking for a gaming surface with which to wage intergalactic war over. As mentioned in a previous post. I'd picked up a 5ft sq. sheet of black vinyl from the local fabric shop and at just under a fiver, this proved to be more than suitable as a temporary solution.

Stern Rake Studio: Bare Bones Impulse Purchases
http://sternrakestudio.blogspot.com/2015/06/bare-bones-impulse-purchases.html
Friday, June 19, 2015. Bare Bones Impulse Purchases. One of the hazards of wargaming is impulse buying. Several weeks ago, I stumbled across some Bones Figures by Reaper Miniatures. While browsing through the Game On! Store I ventured in to. I happened to like some of the figures, along with a loose assortment of D&D Miniatures. They had. So I bought them with little consideration about integrating them into my current collection. Miniatures need to be painted and the folks at. I can't remember an. Break...

Northwest Historical Miniature Gamer: June 2012
http://nhmgs.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Northwest Historical Miniature Gamer. Saturday, June 30, 2012. The road to Charlottesville: Hollywood Cemetery. From there it was on to Charlottesville and the rehearsal for my niece's wedding. I'm reading a poem during the ceremony, so had to be there. It was about 95 degrees with about the same percentage of humidity. Hotter today, with chance of thunderstorms for the outdoor wedding. Can't wait, right. Actually couldn't bear to miss the festivities. Labels: American Civil War. Friday, June 29, 2012.

Monday, December 29, 2014. My Dog Ate My KS Funds (Part 2 of 10). Income tax & profits. In the United States of America, income received is taxable. Not gross sales, but income which is based on profits for the year. Profits are dollars received (gross sales) minus expenses paid (written off) and some other factors too. Expenses should be written off in the tax year the crowd funded project ends. Let’s break down the costs per basic pledge using my KS as an example. Metal costs by weight = $ 7.50. I can ...

http://zedstormrising.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
A wargames, RPG, and modeling blog. Saturday, March 22, 2014. I don't have much to report on the modeling front. My 15mm SciFi project continues, albeit slowly. I did manage to get my Sahadeen cleaned, based, primed and mounted on painting sticks. I also painted the bases of my buildings, but I haven't accomplished anything else. Sahadeen ready for paint. Buildings waiting in the paint que. You can see my Earth Force Platoon here too. I have been doing some shopping though! I really like the rules for bu...
