Thanks to the university’s “fall term break,” I had Thursday and Friday (today) off this week! And I don’t normally work those days so I was soooo thrilled to have two days off in a row… I don’t think that’s happened since August! Why am I still working? I don’t know. Anyhoos here I am jumping for joy about it!

One of my favourite things about places with warm climates is their amazing roads! First of all, they don’t have our vicious freeze/thaw cycle so they don’t get cracks/potholes aaaand since they don’t take as much abuse as ours up here, they can put these amazing reflectors on the road. It’s a desert (okay not a real desert, it’s just sand dunes because the area is still too humid or whatsit to be considered an actual desert) in the middle of the wilderness! There are trees and rivers for miles and miles or kilometres and kilometres or whathaveyou and then bam! Here’s Indie the dog awkwardly scratching himself. So that’s all I feel like saying, but here. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. It's warm and sunny and I can hear water gurgling and see grass again. Yes, the winter is already over and it's that season again. the one where I complain about it being impossible. To run in Breisås and keep one's feet dry. (This season includes spring, summer and fall. Everything without snow can just be lumped together.). It is also essay writing season. I was a little antsy. See how sunny it is outside?
