Saturday, January 29, 2011. Chipmunks Love Crab Season. We just wanted to share this shot. This is right in front of our cottage. You can see the Ocean, the trees, and some of the lovely architecture. You can see all of the things that are awesome about our area right on our 9 acres - giant redwoods, whales, meadow, lawn, flowers, birds, Victorians - and best of all - mini donkeys. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Salmon Film Festival Anyone? Even though we are miniature donkeys who blog, we still think salmon filmmakers are pushing the envelope. The first ever salmon film festival. Is on in conjunction with nearby Fort Bragg's Annual World's Largest Salmon BBQ. July 4th is best experienced in small towns and villages such as ours here on the Mendocino County coast. Not only is our food fantastic (and July 4th is all about the food, isn't it? I believe our Inn. Inn at Schoolhouse Creek.

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Continuing to be delicious. Here at the Inn. Has been open now a couple of months and the raves are in! People love the intimate, peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful setting - and of course most of all, they adore the food. Our rich soil here in Mendocino yields the most wonderful bounty. But don't take a miniature donkey's word for it, come up and see for yourself. Summer is our season here on the Mendocino Coast, with festivals devoted to film, food, wine and so much more!

Thursday, March 31, 2011. Real Spring on the Mendocino Coast! How lovely it is. This is a current photo, from our beautiful Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. Almost dog ice cream time there too. We are so blessed to live here. Even Monique is enjoying all of the adorable little birds surrounding us right now. Wow What lovely sweet smells too. Saturday, September 25, 2010. We can't believe how warm it is today! Heidi says we need sunglasses. Ha ha! That's just ridiculous but it's true that Indian Summer has really outdone itself. Even Punk and Chunk have taken some time off from their rivalry to relax in the sun. We are all loving it. Harvest celebrations, wine tasting events, and kayaking on the lovely peaceful Noyo River. Ik maak beelden en sinds enkele jaren ook schilderijen. Geboeid door het spanningsveld tussen beide kunstvormen ga ik op zoek naar verschillen en gelijkenissen.
