Other Side of the World: September 2014
http://perennialwaters.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 11, 2014. Day 5 : Minskoff and Misc Manhattan. It's real Broadway show day today! And non-admission sightseeing. How exciting! We began our day at Bryant Park, which of course is technically the backyard of . the New York Public Library! I'm here to visit two Automatons that were activated by sequence Daedalus Twenty-Three during the Battle of Manhattan (I'm sure everyone knows which recent geekdom I'm alluding to). I first read about it in BSC Super Special #6. See, the architecture ...

Other Side of the World: December 2010
http://perennialwaters.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Let's begin by saying "What is wrong with the people in this world? What has happened to Courtesy? It's odd when random stupid people whom I don't know decide to annoy the hell out of me, they tend to form some pact and do it consecutively in waves. Maybe they are blind, so they can't see the same ol' number displayed on their cellphones' screens. Or maybe they are as dumb as potatoes that they can't tell it's the same ol' number they are dialling. I tagged wrong people!

Other Side of the World: Day 1.3 : The Kestrel Has Landed!
http://perennialwaters.blogspot.com/2014/09/day-13-kestrel-has-landed.html
Tuesday, September 9, 2014. Day 13 : The Kestrel Has Landed! I have a whole lot of long overdue posts of the BIG ADVENTURE and it's been more than a month (oops). I apologise and shall SLOWLY remember, rekindle and put up every single day of the B.A. Continuing from my previous post (where I cannot stop raving about my in-flight jakunism. LONG queue and King Kong ad. In reality it was more like this:. Oh well, maybe because I am not Mr. Rossdale ( badumtish. And that's the happy reunion. The end. We got ...

Other Side of the World: June 2014
http://perennialwaters.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 7, 2014. Did you know that you can view the interior of the largest passenger aircraft in the world by last year's best airline worldwide on Google Street View? Have a virtual tour of the upper deck of the Emirates A380 here. You will begin your tour at the Onboard Lounge at the back end of the aircraft. If you go all the way to the front of the plane (into the First Class section), look for the Shower Spas and see if you can spot the camera :). I found my long haul seat! Links to this post.

Saturday, November 20, 2010. On the last day of Adidas' Refresh Your Gear campaign, I finally. Got my new pair of running shoes which look like a cross-between Superman and Thomas the Tank Engine. Will rave/rant about them after I've put in several miles. I know, so flashy, right? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Tweets by @liying c. Other Side of the World: Day 3 : The AMNH
http://perennialwaters.blogspot.com/2014/09/day-3-amnh.html
Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Day 3 : The AMNH. I love museums, and the ones found in the Big Adventure are some of the creme de la creme. Of museums worldwide. First up is the American Museum of Natural History in NYC. It even has its own Subway station. I never imagined I would ever get to visit the place where exhibits come to life after hours, but here I am! Theodore Roosevelt greets everyone on the front steps of the Museum. Finally, after 6 years since Berlin, I get to see dinosaur (bones) again!

Other Side of the World: Day 4 : Treasure in the Basement
http://perennialwaters.blogspot.com/2014/09/day-4-treasure-in-basement.html
Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Day 4 : Treasure in the Basement. Sounds like a Nancy Drew title :). Due to the weather change, Luv decided to postpone his day-off to the following week since it would be a bit pointless for us to sightsee NYC in the rain. So today is my independent exploration of Morristown day. The grand ol' post office. On September 6, 1833, Le Blanc became the last person hanged on the Morristown Green." - Wikimapia. Them historically important dudes. Since Morristown is also the home ...

http://perennialwaters.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 25, 2010. I found this old thing I wrote down several years ago, and I thought it was a very good insight and still applicable although I may have changed and stuff. The Nomads of Life. I had an insight the other day. You know, what with people around me are leaving and things are all coming to an end. Just that, sometimes, I wish there is something familiar to fall back on at the end of the day. May 01, 2008. Links to this post. Thursday, August 19, 2010. Right I admit. I have pret...

Other Side of the World: July 2014
http://perennialwaters.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 12, 2014. Day 12 : Luxury in the Skies. Emirates is the only airline that I know, so far, that has showers in their A380 aircrafts. It's only for First Class though, but still, come on! That is taking luxury to another level. I kept telling my family and friends that if I get bumped up, albeit very unlikely, I am definitely taking a shower in the skies. Regardless if I needed a bath or not. Also because they provide you with snacks while you wait to use the lavatories :). As I am writing t...
