Monday, September 29, 2008. One of my dearest friends just gave birth to her second baby girl (her fourth child). I wanted to knit something for her new beauty that would be finished in time for the baby to actually WEAR it. The beachy sweater is still in progress, but has been put on a brief hiatus so that I could get this out quickly. It will stay on hiatus until I finish my Halloween craft exchange project. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. All Baby FO, All The Time. The crazy thing about having all of these friends who have spawned/are spawning children - you need to, like, celebrate them and stuff. Actually, I love all of these kiddos to pieces, and am super-excited that I get to watch them grow (well, not the sweater-baby. I haven't even met her three-year-old big sister yet. Am suck virtual auntie.). My favoritest part is the green patches that showed up on the bottom of the heels. Those are cute socks!

Thursday, November 13, 2008. I had bought the sheet set thinking that I'd make the girls more pillowcase dresses out of the pillowcases. However, it turns out? I am not the fastest in the project-y completion rate. Add to that the fact that it got fall-chilly in the space of, oh, two days, and that Viv won't wear t-shirts under a dress (yeah. The next few months are going to be FUN, I tell you), and the idea of making the pillowcase dresses had. . . well,. Somewhat in its appeal. As a jumping-off point.
