Mia has found her feet! It's so cute watching her reach for them, pretty soon she'll have those cute little toes in her mouth. We have given up on the bassinet and graduated to the crib! See how cramped it was getting in there! My fAvoRitE picture of the MoMenT:. She's also strong enough to sit up by herself in her jumper and saucer. She likes them both, but only for about 15 minutes at a time. She really likes talking to Jackson's horse. Look how scared she is of Jackson! She's getting so big so fast!

What's new in my life? We bought a house! We close on the 24th of this month and I couldn't be more excited! We'll be sad to leave my parents, since they've been so good to us and I'm sure they're going to miss the babies, but we're just a 10 minute drive from them. The house is absolutely perfect for us and I love everything about it. Only 1 1/2 weeks. Jackson is such a sweet, curious, mischevious, and playful little two year old! This is what you do when you're lazy and you want to buy your two year old cute shoes with laces, but you don't want to tie them for him two hundred times a day. Sorry some of the pic's are blurry, I was trying to do this with a two year old and a puppy running circles around me. guess I shouldn't have been working on the floor}. 1 You'll need some elastic and a needle and thread. 2 I cut my elastic about a foot long and Jackson wears a size 8 shoe. You may need to adjust the length for bigger sizes.

I used to make these all the time, but I forgot all about them until Lizzie mentioned her Sassafrass necklace that she's working on. So I got that itch back and this is what I've been doing durring naptime! Here's how you do it. Pretty paper (cut into long, skinny triangles). 1 spread glue along the top half of the triangle and wrap around the toothpick. you could also use a pen or straw, depending on how big you want the opening of the bead. 2 keep wrapping the paper until it looks like this. My list of excuses for not blogging:. Tv: my new found love. Hopefully this post will get me back into the blogging mood and I'll start posting more. I have some home improvement projects I'm hoping to accomplish this summer, so maybe I'll get around to posting about those too. So, what's new here? Repurposing old maternity shirt. I used one of Mia's shirts as a template. It's a 18-24 month shirt, so Mia can't model it yet. It's not exactly what I pictured in my head, but I still have the other half of the shirt to make a better one. Now that we've moved into our new house, I just don't have the time to do things anymore, much less blog about it. =(. OMG- i missed you! Love this shirt for mia with the fantastic rosettes!
