THE DUDEBOX: Project Wolverine / Felix ALBUMS
http://dudebox.blogspot.com/2009/11/project-wolverine-felix-albums.html
Tuesday, 10 November 2009. Project Wolverine / Felix ALBUMS. I’m extremely biased, of course, but I think it’s been an absolutely magnificent year for music in Milton Keynes. The always-healthy Rock n’ Metal scene has provided the sturdy bassline as ever, but there’s plenty of other stuff going on right now too – the rise of. So what better way to tip the salute to this superlative year than by reviewing hot new albums by two of our very favourite MK-related acts? First up Project Wolverine. Bounce ̵...

THE DUDEBOX: FELIX // THE DUDEBOX CHRONICLES, Vol.4
http://dudebox.blogspot.com/2012/02/felix-dudebox-chronicles-vol4.html
Monday, 13 February 2012. FELIX / THE DUDEBOX CHRONICLES, Vol.4. You know when – very rarely I suppose – you’re at a gig and all the pieces fit? Several crucial factors come together in a way unlooked for and just interlock beautifully, jigsaw-perfect? Well, that happened to me not once but twice. Last week. What are the odds on that? I’m almost scared to go to any more gigs in the coming months for fear I’ve jinxed them. Thursday night at the MK Gallery Project Space. I hope they get bigger and bigger.

Monday, 25 April 2011. ON AIR:MK CD Review. 8220;ON AIR:MK” – Live Sessions Of ‘Basement Music’. Basement Music on MySpace. Basement Music on Facebook. We’ll get to the other reasons to buy a copy of “On Air:MK”. In a minute, but #1. And surely the Main Reason. 8211; it’s a really good compilation by a load of MK acts! THE DUDEBOX: October 2011
http://dudebox.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 4 October 2011. The Secret Screens ALBUM. THE SECRET SCREENS – “Relics Part 1” and “Relics Part 2”. So I was in the kitchen at MADCAP telling The Secret Screens. Spatts (Drum Programming, Synths and “Determinism”! That I didn’t have enough of a musical vocabulary to do justice to reviewing their epic double-album “Relics” (parts 1&2). There’s so much in it". So I didn’t get any. But whatever labels you want to stick on this vast swathe of music, it’s extremely impressive stuff! An extended famil...

THE DUDEBOX: August 2011
http://dudebox.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Friday, 12 August 2011. THE DUDEBOX CHRONICLES, Vol.2. Bands: The White Moths / Phil Sky / The Further Adventures Of Vodka Boy / The Baron Makabre Band / Harikiri Heartbreak. Words: MMT and Phil W. We think its criminal - given the amount of talent on show - that the recent MADCAP Fundraiser gigs have been so thin on the ground for audience. Not that we’re biased or anything, given that these gigs currently operate under the name of “The Dudebox Chronicles”. Night could be a MADCAP night! What The Dudebo...
