http://monkeyupdate.blogspot.com/2006/05/and-you-shall-be-called-baby-monkey.html
The Life and Times of Our Monkey Family. Sunday, May 07, 2006. And you shall be called Baby Monkey. After we got married, we joked that now I was a monkey too, so it became kind of a default nickname for both of us. We didn't want to find out if we were having a girl or boy, so Baby Monkey seemed like the perfect nickname for our unborn child. About halfway through the pregnancy we realized that it was the Chinese year of the Monkey! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://monkeyupdate.blogspot.com/2015/07/july-2015.html
The Life and Times of Our Monkey Family. Wednesday, July 01, 2015. The kids' summer vacation is already a third over for us! We've been enjoying the days and trying to make a point to go to the pool more often, go on more bike rides, etc. Papa and I are also mid-way through a few home projects and will hopefully get them wrapped up before the summer is over! I love hearing what M4 is thinking about. A few days ago I asked what toppings he'd like on his bratwurst. He said, "a hot dog! Currey In a Hurry.

The Life and Times of Our Monkey Family: Talking with M4
http://monkeyupdate.blogspot.com/2015/07/talking-with-m4.html
The Life and Times of Our Monkey Family. Friday, July 31, 2015. M4 has been a chatty little guy lately. He wants to be in on all the conversations and has a lot to say now. Every once in a while M.G. thinks it is funny to ask for a mix of liquid and frozen H2O in her glass. M4 picked up on this and often mentions how "Rebecca calls ice frozen H2O" or he'll ask for frozen H2O in his glass and then has to make sure I understand he's talking about water. M4: "Knock-knock. Who's there? Currey In a Hurry.

David's Blog: And Still
http://daviddrummerblog.blogspot.com/2012/07/and-still.html
The creativity is in the content. Saturday, July 14, 2012. And people still die in horrible ways. I mean, most death is, but I mean unexpected, unfair. Stolen lives ripped and slapped across the face. With what the fuck, again? Friday evening, sipping hours slow and soft reclined,. The phone rings hard intruding 4 o'clock alarm and eardrum spear. A quickly muffled smile, a slow to continue, a when did it,. Or does she know, or how did it this time. An evening pulled to crawling, aware and all familiar.

David's Blog: Three Years
http://daviddrummerblog.blogspot.com/2014/04/three-years.html
The creativity is in the content. Monday, April 14, 2014. This is a thing I wrote about how I was feeling. It rhymes, which is unusual for me. Hopefully it makes sense:. It seems critical to mention it,. Though much of me would rather not. It's tempting to re-frame it all. As something I've forgotten. But framing begs precision,. Begs measurement and foresight;. And efforts to adjust refine. My focus on that night. One's memory should not be caged,. Its tendrils flip and spark at will. One rues the fact ...

David's Blog: Rough but Something Close
http://daviddrummerblog.blogspot.com/2012/07/rough-but-something-close_26.html
The creativity is in the content. Thursday, July 26, 2012. Rough but Something Close. This was written at 2 am on a sleepless night in Minneapolis after a flashback-laden panic attack on the flight from SFO to Minnesota. It's rough and not finished, but the beginning of something I've been trying to get down for a year now. Moving steady down the highway,. Into the wind, feeling the force,. Sudden shift and broadside push -. Hands tight clasp the wheel, connected. Through the spine and belly,. Aware that...
