Adventures with a five year old. Thursday, March 5, 2015. Mr O'Hara called Alanna up and they bowed to each other as he presented her with her orange belt. Then she got to run by all the black belts and give them a high five as they cheered her on! She LOVED this part and can't wait to be a black belt so she can do the same for others. Adventures with a five year old. Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Opening Gifts: From Daddy. Cie-J bought a junior excavation kit where she could dig for dinosaur bones! They both loved doing this together! Once they get out all the bones, they will get to glue them together. They discovered it's a T-Rex! Cie-J also got her a spring loaded Obi-Wan light saber. Mr Mrs. and Baby. Friday, April 27, 2012. This morning, Nathan was playing angry birds on his iPod. He insisted on Smokey, our cat, to play with him. So, what did he do to get him to play? The only thing he could do, grab his back foot and used it to tap the screen, why of course. And he actually beat a level doing it that way :) Nathan was so happy. Mr Mrs. and Baby. Sunday, May 22, 2011. Wow, today has been one of THOSE days! The morning started out pretty good, but as soon as I went to the kitchen, I ended up killing about 100 ants! While I was on ant patrol, Nathan was busy being a stinker! The first time I caught him doing something he wasn't supposed to, he was on all fours on the TV stand! He has also taken a liking to pulling the cats tail :( and he thought it would be funny to pull our poor cat around the living room by his tail.

We got him a doctors appointment first thing Monday morning. He has( at least that's what the doctor THINKS) an upper respiratory infection. He has been whispering and coughing the past few days. Mr Mrs. and Baby. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. I absolutely love this time of year! The air is crisp and cool, beautiful colors surrounds me, the leaves start to change. I LOVE IT! And with cooler weather, brings a cooler home. And what better way to warm it up, than to bake. It all started with me thinking it would be nice to bake cookies for all the guys that my husband works with. And when I say " All" I mean 22 MEN! I'm kind of scared to take on this task, so. I have baked for my family instead :).

If not for my adoring readers, but for me. later on down the road when Nathan is driving me crazy, and I can go back and read about how sweet he was :). So he is growing like a weed these days. Strangers think he is at least 2 1/2 or 3! He isn't even 2 yet! He is counting very well these days also! He can count up to 13 and count to 10 in Spanish! He had a blast, and didn't want to leave!

Mr Mrs. and Baby. Saturday, April 7, 2012. Tonight we went our to our friends house to hang out. They have 4 kids together and Nathan loves going over there to hang out with them. Tonight Ethan, ( pictured above with Nathan) said that Nathan was going to be his best friend. He put his hand on the back of Nathan's head and was rubbing it, ha( but Nathan does have the perfect big head to rub) and even gave him a little smooch too, ha! I makes my heart very happy to see these two playing together!

Adventures with a five year old. Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Cie-J and Alanna went to the local orchard on Saturday and dug up their own beets. Alanna was so proud that she found the biggest beet. I don't think I could have gotten her to try a beet even if I bribed her with money. But take her and let her do it all herself and she was dying to try it!
