There are many other beautiful and prolific fish other than Tarpon, Permit and Bones at our two lodges. There are healthy population of barracuda, snook, blackfin tuna, Wahoo, king mackerel, Spanish mackerel, grouper, snapper and jack. Many can be taken on the fly, but we also encourage light spinning tackle for catch and release and trolling gear for the other species. The Tarpon fishing is year-round. At our lodge at Monkey River. There are few places that you have the chance to fish for Tarpon in so many varied environments. The flats, reefs, jungle rivers, deep holes around the mangrove islands and the mangroves themselves all hold Tarpon during some parts of the year and in some weather conditions.
