Anyway, I decided to read and annotate said poem, as I had a conveniently empty slot to fill in my poetry journal. Allow me to share this example:. The grey sea and the long black land;. And the yellow half-moon large and low;. Oh, and the title? Well, let’s just put it this way. You took a Polaroid of us. The rest of the world was black and white. And we were in screaming color.
