El placer de aprender a cocinar. Lunes, 14 de febrero de 2011. TORRIJAS O "CROQUETES DE SANTA TERESA". Las torrijas o “Croquetes de Santa Teresa” como le llaman por aquí, son quizá uno de los postres más antiguos que tradicionalmente se hacían para aprovechar el pan seco. Las he probado de muchísimas formas: con miel, vino, con leche -azúcar y canela (las tradicionales) o bien como las hacía mi abuela materna, con crema pastelera por encima y con azúcar quemado. 1 barra de pan (llonguet). 500 cl de leche.

El placer de aprender a cocinar. Lunes, 25 de octubre de 2010. Mi primer reto circulo whole kitchen dulce ha sido un poco desastroso. Siempre he tenido más facilidad para elaborar cualquier receta salada donde los tiempos de cocción, deben respetarse, pero no son tan a "rajatabla" como en la repostería. Con esta mania mía de cocinar un poco a ojo, hasta ahora no había tenido muchas incidencias, pero con los carquinyoles ha sido una pesadilla! Ya avisada de la "potencia" de mi horno me puse manos a la obra.

He aprovechado una receta que se hacía en mi casa y que yo nunca había preparado. Tampoco he podido cumplir mi compromiso con Whole Kitchen y me temo que en breve me harán abandonar el grupo, pero en fin, son etapas! El placer de aprender a cocinar. Viernes, 25 de noviembre de 2011. PRESA DE CERDO IBÉRICO CON SALSA TERIYAKI. Una receta sencilla, resultona y buenísima. 1 presa de cerdo ibérico (o un trozo de solomillo). 100 gr. salsa de soja. 80 gr de sake. 100 gr mirin o vino blanco. 75 gr azúcar moreno. 50 gr semillas de sésamo. 50 gr aceite de sésamo. 20 gr vinagre de módena. Como en la mayoría de recetas.Precalentar el horno a 180º ;-). Triturar con el minipimer la soja, el azúcar, el sake y el mirin.
