I am in India and his is my blog. Tuesday, October 9, 2007. Elephant in the streets of Jaipur. I am a really bad videographer but the first 20 seconds of the video are pretty cool. I was just walking down the street in Jaipur (towards the elephant owners quarters with hopes of seeing an elephant, I confess :) when this ellie comes truckin down the street. He/She was moving pretty fast. Looks like it had a little problem with psoriasis of some sort on its truck, but makes it even more unique.

Of course, I received word about the bombings in Hyderabad at 5am in the Frankfurt airport. Probably not the best way to get the news but at least everyone at work was safe. First couple of days were kind of a blur (I kicked the jet lag on day 2 by taking a 5 hour nap) and definitely a ton of fun. Overall, I'm psyched to be here.
