Settling in as a four-some! Ross is doing good reading the Bob books! Here's an example page from one of the books we read tonite - he did a great job tonite of focusing. Lots of nights he gets so distracted and can hardly read one page before he has to tell me a story, describe the picture, etc! Ugh It's quite difficult to remember the word you just sounded out or read the whole sentence you just sounded out when you stop to tell a story in the middle - ha! First Day of School! Settling in as a four-some! The kids had their annual check-ups this morning, which also meant 5-yr shots for Ross. He wasn't too nervous about them, not like Rylie gets, he was mostly curious and asking a lot of questions. But he was a bit nervous when the time came. They come at him 2 nurses at one time, each with a needle, and they poke each arm at the exact same time! Two shots at one time ;-) He didn't cry at all until they were putting the band-aids on and then he burst into tears.

Settling in as a four-some! Happy 5th Birthday Ross! I can't believe our little guy is already 5 years old! We had an early, easy family bday party for Ross tonite! And we'll do a double-friends party for him and Rylie later this month. Phew, August is busy! It was such a nice afternoon/evening to be outside with family! Rylie was SO sweet reading all of Ross's bday cards to him. She did such a great job of helping him with gifts, but not helping too much ;-). Love these 2 August babies!

Settling in as a four-some! August Birthdays Party - WF. Saturday night (my actual birthday! We had an August Birthday Party for myself, Ross, Rylie, and Henry! Everyone came, which was so fun - the cousins had a blast all running around together. Rylie opened a couple small gifts - and the rest were saved for her actual birthday. Ross had opened his small gifts on his bday and was opening the rest here with everyone. The big gift was matching walkie-talkies for Henry and Ross! My sissies ;-).
