Welcome to the Jungle. Goodbyes. →. A Home Away From Home. March 17, 2014. I have one more week here until I have to say goodbye to my Ecua mom and sister. This is a bittersweet feeling because I am excited to be back with all my friends at our old place, but also very sad to leave these awesome, God-driven relationships I have made with my mom and sister. But hey! We always have facebook! A little less than two months till I am home and can cook all of the Ecuadorian food that I have learned how to make!

Monthly Archives: February 2014. After 8 Hours on a Plane. February 11, 2014. So let’s start with my first impressions/fun facts:. Altitude walking= need of an oxygen mask or inhaler. Fourteen girls no closet room four bathrooms= death. You can get a 3 course meal with a drink for about $4.00. The window in our flat and the roof overlook a majority of the city; It’s absolutely breathtaking. We greet everyone with a kiss on the cheek. The hill I live on is like climbing a mountain. Hello summer body.
