It's been complete for a few months but I'm just now finally getting around to posting some photos. We call it the "Giles Cube" - it's a fun little getaway for the kids [and adults]! Bits and Bytes from my life. Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Tree House (phase 1). I found two big pine trees and decided to build a 8' x 8' wooden platform about 9-10ft. above the ground. I am not a. Carpenter but I've learned a lot in the process - it was a lot of fun! I bought myself my first "skil saw" to add to the collection of power tools. I learned to measure twice, cut once. Bits and Bytes from my life. Tuesday, March 18, 2008. Spring Break - McKinney Falls. We took the girls to McKinney Falls. In Austin and enjoyed some mountain biking, hiking, and exploring. We were there with our friends the Millets, Parkers, and Schorrs. My wife Nancy in the "eye" of the waterfall. There were many cool limestone rock formations throughout the creek bed. Brittany playing with her friends Jared and Cameron. See my rock! Push Megan, push! The girls are growing up way too fast browsky :).

Our public journal…. Starting Week 2 :). Starting Week 2 :). March 9th, 2010. Ok – I ran my first run for this week (after biking to / from work yesterday) and ended up running about 3.2 miles in 27 minutes (8.5 minutes / mile). Guess I need to sign up for a 5k event in the near future to get me motivated to keep on running and push myself – anyone know of one here in Albuquerque in the next few months? Last week we discovered that there are sport climbs on Lone Mountain, which is literally two minutes from our house! A peek into my life ;) And other random thoughts. Sunday, November 2, 2008. This year we celebrated Halloween early with Vance's buddies from work. On our way to the party we stopped by a costume shop and scrambled to quickly pick out our garb for the night :) After almost an hour of browsing, we finally settled on being Pirates. The party was tons O fun, and it was hilarious to see everyone's costumes. Good times! Brittany and Ryan Petersen. I'm thinking life size poster for work. What do you think?
