Mealtimes: [my 16 month old] will eat two or three teaspoons, or a bit more if it's finger food, by himself if he likes it and then points to toys, books etc. I often end up feeding him myself while he plays [with] kitchen stuff: opening/closing bottles, putting beads in them etc. What a great visual! That is the Montessori way!
