Missionari Monfortani - Bergamo: dicembre 2008
http://monfortani.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Sabato 13 dicembre 2008. Ho fame! Voglio qualcosa da mangiare. Poi d'improvviso cresce a dismisura.

A proposito dell’attivitá...

Missionari Monfortani - Bergamo: Un desiderio santo e sincero
http://monfortani.blogspot.com/2009/03/un-desiderio-santo-e-sincero.html

Hope for Humanity - network for a better world
http://www.n4bw.org.uk/blog/hope-for-humanity
Any reading of the passion narrative from this week moves me from my apathy. Intially taken aback by the violence and seeming inhumanity of the Romans and the Jewish authorities of the time and suddenly I am jolted out of that easy judgement. Isnt the world like this now? Dont we all know a Pilate and a Caiphas? Are we ourselves like that too. That for me is the most remarkable thing, that God chose grim reality, our own realities. Are we broken by grief and denial like Peter? In our N4BW values we know ...

Sitima , near Zomba in Malawi. We identified this rural area of Southern Malawi . There was only limited input by larger agencies and governmental funders and the mainly susbsitence farmers were struggling to make a living after two seasons of drought. At this sort of grass roots level, our modest investment of time, energy and money could have a better chance of truly helping those that need it. Volunteer House and placements. Distribution of mosquito nets and sleeping mats.
