The longer im here and the more i get settled, the more i realize that life here really isnt that different. the transition is definitely smooth and easier than i thought itd be. the only problem is the language (which hopefully wont be a problem for too long). im also starting to kinda learn my way around. so far, i definitely like it here. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Haha it woke me up at 4 in the morning and we parted ways haha. i dont think that ive ever gotten sick from food that i ate so this was a new experience for me. it was so bad that i felt weak most of the day. Oh, i also used french on monday! I went to the gas station and was able to just walk in and say the pump number. that was enough for the attendent to know exactly what i needed and there were no problems. im making strides! I feel like ive got so much to say about my first days.even tho i may not say it all cuz its so much i might forget something. everything has been so hectic in the past couple of days. ive done so much that i feel like ive been here for much longer than 2 days.and ive slept 20 of the 48 hours ive been here.
