I Keep Running: 7/1/15 - 8/1/15
http://www.ikeeprunning.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
It's been three weeks of almost complete rest (a couple shorts hikes here and there) since the West Highland Way Race and all systems seem to be a go. I've come back too soon after previous one hundred mile efforts and ended up hurting myself, so this time I wanted to take extra care not to push things too soon. I'd been itching to get into the High Unitas since moving to Utah last August. I've especially wanted to check out the Highline Trail. Here are some photos from the route. Almost to Rocky Sea Pass.

Barefoot And Running Blind! Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Ralph Waldo Emerson. Heroic Hoka Highland Fling! April 26, 2015. Partially sighted, limited oxygen intake, heat exhaustion, leg cramps and I’m only just hitting Conic Hill – 18miles in…! With my Gore thermal and wind proof base layers on, I was ready to take on the elements and was sure that hypothermia concerns were well looked after. I managed to squeeze in a ‘few’ photo oppor...Just shy ...

Pollokshields Burgh Hall | Historic Venue | Maxwell Park | Glasgow
http://www.pollokshieldsburghhall.com/history
Sir John Stirling Maxwell. How to find us. About classes and events. A truly historic venue. In 1887 Sir John Maxwell granted the land now Maxwell Park to the burgh of Pollokshields for the construction of a burgh hall and public gardens. Internally, residents of Pollokshields gifted numerous stained glass windows and the hall was decorated with solid wood panelling, ornate cornicing and stonework, all of which have been lovingly maintained by Pollokshields Burgh Hall Trust. Photographer of the Month.
